Camping and outdoor activities fulfill a Cub Scout’s dreams of fun, excitement and adventure. They provide a natural setting for quality time with family and friends. Our modern council camp, with qualified leadership, provides an ideal setting for these activities.

Boys and families who participate in The Bucktail Council Cub Scout Outdoor Expo at Camp Mountain Run have the opportunity to sample the many different aspects of Cub Scout camping. New Cub Scouts have the opportunity to sample our shooting ranges with bb guns and bows and arrows, aquatics facility with fishing, nature facilities by hiking trails with knowledgeable guides, handicraft by creating a project to take home and much more.

There is no cost to new Cub Scouts, just bring your completed Cub Scout application or you may fill one out at the event. Current Cub Scouts are also welcome to participate at a minimal cost per boy.

At the event the Ttrading Post is stocked with hot dogs, soda and candy along with scouting gear availalbe for sale.
