Area 4 Venturing Summit - "Mystery at Camp Mountain Run"

The Northeast Region Area 4 Venturing Committee invites all Venturers, Sea Scouts and their guests to attend the 5th annual Area Venturing Summit. The Area Summit will begin with a big party on Friday night (that includes food, music and opportunities to make new friends) and culminates on Dusnay morning with the annual Area 4 meeting and election of officers. the theme for this year is "Murder Mystery at Camp Mountain Run" which is a takeoff on Murder Mystery dinner theatre and games like Clue.

Saturday activities will talk full advantage of all that the great camp has to offer and include: Climbing and COPE, Handgun shooting, Ultimate Frisbee, Tomahawk Throwing, Canoeing, Dance Dance Revolution, Rifle shooting, Kayaking, 3-d Archery, Dance instruction, Geocaching, Guitar Hero, Shotgun shooting, Mountain Biking and much, much more.

The cost for the event will be $40 per person (for tent camping (in personal tent) or $50 per person (for cabin camping). The fee covers all food, program (except as noted), Summit patch, Bandana, and T-shirt, facilities, and program materials. the fee applies to all youth and adults. For those who can only attend on Saturday we offer a $30 "day pass" (includes meals and program as detailed above). On-time registrations must be postmarked by Thursday, March 18, 2010.
