2005 National Scout Jamboree

We are currently accepting youth applications for the 2005 National Jamboree on a first come basis with reservation fee of $100.00. We will be sending 2 troops for a total of 72 youth and 8 adult leaders. We currently have selected all 8 adult leaders to lead the way for our boys attending the Jamboree. We also have 47 youth applications in the office as of March 1st, 2003. Cost for the Jamboree will be $850.00 for youth attending. The Council Office must receive adult leader applications by October 15, 2003. Youth applications are still being excepted with a $100.00 deposit until all 72 spots are filled. Once all spots are filled we will have a waiting list and those boys will be on stand by incase we have boys drop out. Selection of youth will be on a first come first serve basis so get your applications in early. Applications can be obtained at the Scout Office or at www.scouting.org/jamboree.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: It is very important that you hold to this payment schedule.

The Jamboree fee covers all transportation, pre-jamboree training, and food at the jamboree, patrol and troop equipment, and some souvenir items. The only additional expense will be your personal equipment, uniforms, and spending money.

Anyone interested in going to the jamboree as staff must get their applications off the internet at www.scouting.org/jamboree.
