High Adventure Camp

August 3 -9, 2008 high adventure program is open to co-ed venturing Crews!

Exciting activities. New challenges. Lasting memories. All High Adventure participants will need a Class III Medical Form. Participants will be based at Camp Mountain Run. Provisional Scouts will be assigned to a campsite with supplied adult supervisors.

Caving

Just you, a headlamp and your small group will journey into the earth with an experienced guide.

Whitewater Rafting

The Youghiogheny River - a premier whitewater destination. Small rafts. Experienced river guides. It all adds up to wet, fast and furious excitement. Must have BSA swim test.

Aviation

Go to the DuBois Jefferson County Regional Airport to learn how to fly. Participants will actually take the controls and fly the plane!

Water-skiing

Take on Treasure Lake at high speeds with nothing but two thin boards strapped to your feet. Must have BSA swim test.

Rock Climbing and Reppelling

Climb and descend the spectacular walls of Panther Rocks.

Must be 14 years or older. Spaces extremely limited - enroll early.

Adult & Youth High Adventure Fees

$300.....Early bird fee by May 3, 2008

$350.....Normal fee after May 3, 2008
