Cub Scout Leaders are considered trained when they have completed New Leader Essentials and the Cub Scout Leader Specific training for their position.

Pack Committee Members are considered trained when they have completed New Leader Essentials and the Pack Committee Challenge as their Leader Specific training.

When you have completed the above sets of courses for your scouting position, you may display the “TRAINED” patch on your uniform for that position. If you change your position, you must complete training for the new position to keep displaying the “TRAINED” patch.
